Three silver from a sidewalk tear out

Mosley

New member
A local church is tearing out a sidewalk to make more parking. The dirt was dug about a foot below where the sidewalk had been. The first day there was a large mound of dirt, metal rusted pipe, etc. along the middle of the tear out. I did find a 23 Mercury dime. I went back the next day and the mound of dirt, pipe etc. had been moved. I found a 45 Mercury and a very deep 1907 Barber dime.

Nice save on the silvers!

Nice silvers gotta get me a sidewalk tearout under my belt

That was a good silver day. Congrats on the finds.

Those sidewalk tearouts seem to be great. I'll have to keep my eye out...only problem is I'm 20 miles from nearest town.

Thanks for the pictures.
