shallow water in a crawl space under our house, 'bour an inch er so.Each time the temps go above 40 here we git skeeters from that water. Fact is, skeeter eggs actually produce their own anti freeze and survive even when the water freezes solid.All they need is 40 degrees er so to hatch.
