TIMBERRRRRRR!!!!!!

We had bad storms again last night here in MI. Many with no power, trees down, flooding, they documented 30,000 lightening strikes in one hour!! :surprised:
The good thing is most of it went north of us. This morning we found that half of our BIG Mullberry tree by my drive way had fallen. God is good! :)
You see, this tree has always provided shade for my truck. It also leaned towards the truck. I always said if a storm brings it down, it will land on my truck!
Even though all the winds last night were going East, God tipped this one straight South! Not sure if you can tell the size or not but it would take two men to put their arms around the trunk!

This was the 2nd night in a row the power was knocked out. We had trees falling up here too...Sherry now knows the answer to if a tree falls in the woods and there is no one there to hear it will it make a sound?
She wasn't in the woods but sure heard it from our house.

Listened to the police scanner - only picks up the fire department and central dispatch up here. Our township fire department scattered in several directions to respond to power lines down, trees falling on a house, person stuck in an elevator at on hotel and responding to smoke in the building of another hotel and the grass fires caused by the arcing power lines on the ground.

So I don't know about that "The good thing is most of it went north of us." Good thing is...your truck didn't get smashed and no one up here was injured.

Gotta give ya a hard time Mike

Wow...yes...God is good and I'm thankful it didn't land on your truck!

Our God is a loving Father to His children and He spared your truck from being badly damaged and Goes4ever's house and them from being hit by a mini-tornado! I sure would say God is good to His own and let none of us ever forget our gracious and merciful God Who loves us so much that He gave His own life to save ours! Praise God & Thank You, Jesus!

God Bless!
Betty

Sure will! :)
