Time Ranger and 10" coil

I have a BH Time Ranger and I am thinking about buying a 10" coil.
Does anybody know of any problems when using the 10" coil with the TR?

A 10" coil came with mine when new. Added the 4" after. Both work great.

Mine came with 4" and 8" coils. Now I want to add the 10".

I ordered the 10" coil from Amazon and I am now waiting for it to get here.

I just got the 10" today. I'm thinking about going out to test it.

I took the Time Ranger out for a very short hunt with the new 10" coil.
It seemed to do well. It seems to be more accurate at pinpointing.
It is also seems to be more accurate at the depth of the target.

During the 20 minute hunt I found a penney and a hair pin.

There is one thing about this coil that I do not like, it is much heavier than the 8" coil.

Have u used the 10 inch coil lately. Any difference in depth. Does it still seem heavier

I have used a couple of times. I have not noticed a difference in depth yet ( they may be due to not using enough yet).
It is much heavier than the 8" coil. The 10" coil gives you a good workout.
