Time to go meteorite hunting, John Edmonton.

John I saw the spetacular flash of that meteorite.
How close did it land to your area. They mentioned the Wainwright Alberta area.
They figured the size from basket ball size to volkswagon car size.
Likely broke up into smaller sizes.
They said time to break out the metal detectors to find it.
Good luck hope you find some of the fragments.
May be worth lots of $$$$$

I too saw it, about 17:30 after coming home from the coin store. The whole southern sky lit up for a moment. A meteorite wasn't the first thing to cross my mind. I though maybe it was an electronic transformer blowing up at first, or streak lightning. I had hoped something might show up on the news. I was glad it was a meteorite though. I hope some lucky dude finds it though....

I just come over here to see if John knew about which of course he would ...

Time to get out the Infinium and go look for it. :detecting: :garrett:
