What if we took a microprocessor from one of the color depthfinder units (Humminbird Matrix, Furino, Garmin, etc.) and tied that into a pulse induction circuit board where clock speeds are measured good/bad (iron/low conductance), so that 1/2 of the internal circuitry is pulse induction and 1/2 is depthsounder, and we take the clock speed readings of soft/hard/metal speeds from the depthsounder for common metals (gold/silver/aluminum/etc) and merge this information into a circuit (or 3rd microprocessor) with the pulse information to come up with a true discriminating pulse induction machine. The merged information would look like this (for gold): low conductance --.> good --> clock speed correct for metal --> good --> depthsounder clock speed good for metal (gold) --> good = tone.
