In my few times out, I noticed that balls of alluminum foil and the cigarette package foils get easily detected BUT sound very differently than other objects. They give out a bleak short choppy sound instead of a nice strong tone. They are also hard to pinpoint because of this, being that the detection is pretty wide scattered. Maybe because the foil reflects the signals in every which way. Do your MD's have the same results?
