Just sharing a few things that have helped me get more consistent finds with the AT Max/Pro/Gold. slowing down my swing speed made the biggest difference. These machines really shine when you let the coil do the work. I also started overlapping my swings more it picks up targets I used to miss.
If you’re hunting parks or yards, listening for those repeatable tones is key. Don’t chase every chirp. If it hits the same tone from at least two directions, it’s usually worth digging and last thing, keep the coil low and level. Sounds obvious, but it really matters. Nothing fancy here just what’s worked for me it might help someone dialing in their machine, Happy hunting.
