Tired of digging can slaw and some other trash with HF2 coil. Looking for gold rings ?

I see your point and like it. Call it the gold ring bounce……ha ha ha. I won’t be able to try it for several days but i will try your latest.

I tried it with version 2.0 and 11 inch coil. I used both Fast and Mono programs. I found there is a three point difference but I feel the Fast program was spot on Id for coins and trash. Mono was harder to decide if the target was a nickel or can slaw.
I have tobtr6 you test with version 3.1 and HF2 coil but it’s really cold now so I’ll wait for a warm up.

In England you have 1,000's of years of metal oxidizing in the ground. I set my discrimination where Im not digging too much crap and go. I dig anything that sounds good or not. I had the lousiest signal on a Saxon sceat. Broken weird do to all corrosion. My 1st gold coin, my avatar, 1695 William 3rd guinea, was solid and deep, For sure I thought it was big iron. What a surprise to see the gold coin !!! In England, its a while nother world. You have to dig everything. Stuff is too old and too much fertilizer and can be very small !!!

Id never looked at the meter in 25 years of hunting England !!!

I certainly hunt in the USA more than my trips to the UK. My thoughts about the XY screen are about the accuracy of the XY screen. Nothing to do with where your hunting or using the TID or not, just XY. Get out there.
