I hit a different beach today. Looked good and I got a gold wedding band, yipee!!! and 5 silver coins and a bunch of quarters and dimes and nickels and pennies. Was a great day until the fog rolled in. It came so fast I made sure I knew where I was so I didn't get lost. All in all had a great day and it was fairly warm. HH

Just curious, where do you normally beach hunt? (State)...I don't follow the forums like I use to and apologize for not knowing.
Just read the post on the sinkers. Here on the Outer Banks, digging fishing sinkers in the surf is usually a sure sign that gold rings are nearby.
We rarely leave a spot as long as we are digging sinkers. I suppose you know that because I sense that you are an experienced hunter.

The weird thing was I felt a drip on my lip and thought it was from a seagull. When I got back to my car I noticed that my hair was soaking wet and obviously had dripped onto my face. HH
 
I don't put pictures up on the forum because I fear for my life. <img src="/metal/html/confused.gif" border=0 width=15 height=22 alt=":?"> If everyone saw my finds I would be attacked on our beaches. Whatever you do, don't hit them with your detector. I'm sure it would be destroyed in the impact.
