I have found fewer and fewer who care...even our own Government. I read once...a Veterans Administration document...to be classified as a Veteran one has to have been discharged from the military within the past 5 years. Guess those before that don't exist.
Once there was a hiring preference for military vets but since Have been told ''WE CANNOT DISCRIMINATE AGAINST THOSE WITH NO MILITARY SERVICE''
I guess draft dodgers who went to Canada and kids of politicians and those who went to college instead to now become disgruntled teachers have more rights than the vets.
Having been cheated out of a military retirement does not make me feel any better about this country or its government...and feel even less happy about comments of 'where you can stick your flag' and the theft of my flag off my front porch.
Though I have reason to hate this country...it is the good people of this nation and especially,Brothers and Sisters in Christ that give me pride and hope.

Amen Doug! I too appreciate all the Veterans who do and have fought and died for American citizens, so that we might live free to worship as we please, but Christians are now told they cannot teach or preach about Jesus or end a prayer in His precious name! Oh woe to the gov't and people that turn against God Jehovah with ungodly ways!
Thank you to all our men and women in the US militaries and our allies, for we know that without everyone doing their duties, we would have been lost as a great nation a long time ago! You and Jesus' shed blood keeps us praying with hope of a far better future in America; therefore, thank you so very much and also your families for their sacrifices, too!
