DADS DAY,SAD DAY FOR ME .MY DAD LEFT ME AND MY MOM WHEN I WAS 13 DID NOT SAY GOODBYE,SEE YOU LATER,WILL WRITE,I WILL CALL YOU ,NOTHING!!THERE WAS NO AFFECTION WHAT SO EVER
RAISED MY KIDS IN CHURCH BOTH OF THEM TURNED THEIR BACKS ON ME AND WIFE HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THEM IN SEVEN YEARS THEY ARE ALL LIVING FOR THE

YOU TRY TO TELL THEM ABOUT THE LORD ,ALL THEY WANTED TO DO WAS ARGUE ,THIRTY YEARS OF PRAYING FOR THEM ,AND STILL THEY COULD CARE LESS.THEY ARE ON THAT WIDE ROAD TO DESTRUCTION AND THEY COULD CARE LESS.I HAVE A GRAND DAUGHTER THAT I HAVE NOT SEEN SINCE SHE WAS 8 YEARS OLD."SOONER OR LATER IT WILL ALL COME OUT IN THE WASH" AS WE USE TO TELL

I too have a son that I raised to know the Lord. He rarely visits me (only twice in two years) but I've not given up on him because God has not given up on me. I continue to pray for my son and grandchildren and their children, with the hope that one day they will give their hearts and lives to God.
Just as Job prayed for his children, we must continue to pray for ours. We don't know when our prayers, for our children, will be answered but we do know God will answer them, in His time. We must continue to hope and trust that God will work it out. Believe me my friend ... I know your pain.

prayed for them any and my youngest has come to know the Lord and calls me to see how I am about twice a month! They were up here in St. Louis to celebrate their 5th anniversary and came by to see me and was so good to visit with them...she is on vacation, so can rest tomorrow, as she was very tired by the time they got back home!
I have and do pray for the other two also and all my grandchildren but so far none of them have repented, for God cannot save them until they are ready to be saved and they must call out and yield their all to Him themselves! He won't force anyone to believe in and accept Him in the name of Jesus but like Martin says, we must keep on praying and hoping, for we never know who will be the one who comes into their lives and gets the Word of God within their hearts to wake them up to the truth of HIs Holy Word! Don't give up and keep praying....as prayers never fail but sometimes it takes years and years for them to come and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior and live for HIm!
My sister-in-law, Wanda, said she knew a lady who had prayed for her husband to be saved for many, many years and then he finally was but was taken home within two years which made her sad because she didn't have more time with him in his saved condition which does make a difference in the lives of those who truly believe, And yet her hope is in that she will now be able to see him again someday! I am praying for you and hope your surgery turns out well and you heal quickly! Keep faith in the Lord that He is working on them to bring the right people and even trials into their lives to get their attention so they will have a chance to repent! May God Bless you and yours!
