To buy a Fisher ID Excel or Not

Hi,
I've been using a minelab excalibur for a couple of years, great machine but the pinpointing is absolutely dreadful on land.
I'm leaning towards the Excel, I've heard many good things about it, including it's accuracy, light weight and affordable price. If you have an opinion on this or another land hunting machine kindly post a reply...I'm all ears.
 
Sounds like you already know all about it Ann, I love my Excel wouldn't have anything else. <img src="/metal/html/super.gif" border=0 width=26 height=28 alt=":super">

Double D coils drive some people crazy pinpointing as a concentric is much easier..Many like myself have no problems , but it took time..Anyway an Excalibur is a heavy beach, water machine and feel you will appreciate the digital ID, lightness and no brainer pinpointing of an Excell if you purchase one..Would go to a multi line dealer, do some reading and bottom line its your call...
 
You hit it on the head. Light weight, accurate, auto ground balancing,pin pointing and a low price. I have been able to use it on sand but would need the x for the water.
