To E-trac or not?

sorry about that glitch do you think as etrac owners we ought to play the performance of this superb machine down more finds for us hahaha

bulletman you ask if the etrac is worth 1500 dollars it is a bargain because one it is an amazing detector and two in the uk we pay 2100 dollars so i think you are getting a really good deal its like being born again going out and coming home with all your treasures happy hunting

i just found 1814 half bust...before that a childs gold bracelet....both pics on this forum.....i've made enough finds in the last two months to pay for my etrac....i've found so many colonials i've lost count and silver reales....it's crazy....i used an SE a couple of times last year and a whites xlt....i think that's what it was...anyways....this machine is awesome....i've only been metal detecting this year..my partner for 40 years.....he loves the etrac too.....like anything else its the learning curve and reading this forum and studying your history for your sites....good luck on your decision.....and if you do buy an etrac , make sure to purchase andy's book.....a must have......ginger

Hmm I paid 1250 for my E-Trac, brand new. Shop around, make some calls... the deal is still out there.

I mainly use a Safari which is the next step down it will go as deep and work as good as any etrac but the cost is under 1000 dollars.

Is that why all the E-Trac users are selling their machines to buy a Safari?
Wasnt very smart on Minelabs part to make the Safari just as good as the E-Trac ... but for hundreds less money was it.
