Ive ordered my new F75LTD and it should be in by end of month, hopefully sooner! ;) ive been using a F70 and really like it:. Once the F75 gets here is there any reason i shoukd keep my F70?? I could pick up an omega as a backup machine and have a diff frequency or maybe a G2 What do you guys think??

Well, I guess I'd wait and see how it compares to your new rig...you know, just to see which one you prefer and fits your style of hunting and body the best..you've been at this for a long time, so you will know whats the best decision to make...I'm interested in what you think of the differences of the two once you get your new one and all...

yeah like mud said give the new machine some time then ask yourself the same question, personally i think the only advantage the f70 has its a little lighter but would be a great backup or loaner machine happy trails

I will definately hang onto both til after i do some comparison .. I guess i was thinking keeping both would be like owning both the whites v3i and vx3 Lol i just figure keeping two detectors that are so close to the same just wouldnt make any sense for me. Cant wait to get my hands on the dang thing ...

ive been thinking that the f75se and the atpro would be a good combo be nice to have a waterproof machine for swimming holes and rainy days hh

Now you know you need to sell it, .. there's a poor soul lost in the dark out there that cant see the light till they own a F70 :sadwalk:. But then your responsible for putting a potential threat on your hunting areas :rage:..lol I agree I would definitely hold on to it till I was sure that's what you want to do

Basstracker, you will have no problem selling either rig on this Forum if it came to that...l know someday I would like to get a spare 70 just in case something goes afoul with my main heater...I know I would not be able to function for long without it, if my main rig ever took a dump, it would be like losing an arm! EZ, I have an atpro as well as the 70..they appear to be the perfect team for the reasons you stated...and, they both use the same batteries, so I put fresh ones in the Pro, and when it says its 'done' with them, I put those same batteries in the 70 and get another 15+ hrs out of them!...I only hunt water/beach with the Pro, the 70 gets ALL of the dirt work, even today in a light rain I use the 70 with ZERO problems hunting hard for years with it. I've never once tried the Pro on the dirt, but I have waded with the 70 upon occasion, that 70 is just so fast and comfortable, If it was mildly waterproof, I wouldnt a needed the Pro...they do get along real good, never once has a fight broken out between the two...
