To the folks in North Port that I met at Englewood beach

Hello! :)
Say, that tip you gave me on footwear for water hunting, was right on!!!
I got a pair at Wal-Mart and they beat everything else i've ever used!!!
I have some water hunting spots, i'd like to discuss with you. Maybe we can trade out some spots or hunt some together? :)
PS: I'm sorry, I forgot both of your names! :(

They are vinyl sandals, with 2 velcro straps. You wear then fairly loose and when sand and shell gets in, you just shake your foot a bit and it falls out!
The sand shoes and diving booties all fill up with crap. :(
Mine are from Wal-Mart. I got some gray and black ones for under $10.00
One of the best water hunting tips i've had in a long time!!!

So, do you have a picture of those shoes? I am curious about them. I have a similar sounding pair but they kill me. I'm better off without them!

Oh... and the SMELL is awesome! Bia even had to put them outside for storage! She couldn't take the smell. Even when we travelled I had to tie them to the roof of the van!

may look a little funny, but keeps sand abrasion & blisters away.

and I use electrical tape to wrap around my ankle to keep the sand out. The same silicone you used to use on the gasket can be rubbed on the zipper to help open it. Even when a lot of sand sticks to the silicone, it still opens much more easily. Too much chafing from sandals. Thin nylon socks inside the bootie help with on/off, too.
