These finds are from a few short hunts from last weekend and this weekend! I did manage 2 silvers, a '44 Merc and a '50 rosie. along with a1883 IH and a bunch of wheats! Earliest being 1917. Also found a tootsie VW car, along with a brass valve. Don't ask me why I put that in there, just thought it was kinda neat. Those finds were from last week. Yesterday was a good day. I uncovered my first shield nickel! No date but my first one. Along with the nickel I found 2 IH's 1889 and a 1896!! Thx for lookin! HH J.B.

Cool you got a shield nickel, I'm lucky if I find one of those a year and congrat's on the other nice coins. The IH's sure look good.

Great finds! :clapping: You've had a good last couple weekends.

Love to see the IH's,silver, and other old coins you and others find. Some very nice recovery's..WTG...I used to drive a VW like that...mine didn't look that good though!!!

Good finds! I'd like to find one of those shield nickels in any condition. Even a V nickel at that.

Nice finds w potential for even more.
Old coin collecter here-so I don't clean coins w the exception of "toasted nickles".
I used to have some "nickle date restorer" (can't remember the name) that would bring out the date on most of my toasted 5's.
