)Having grown up in the '50's and having watched way too much TV, I can tell you that there was a short lived TV series called Buffalo Bill Jr.
I don't recall if they ever offered premiums on that show (like Captain Midnight did through Ovaltine).
Many of the early TV shows had a precursor by the the same title in Radio. Don't think BB Jr was ever a radio show, however. Could be a cereal premium though...Sometimes the TV shows would line up with a cereal mfgr such as Post or Kellogg's and put the 'hero's' picture on the box. Then, they would offer the premium on the back of the box. I'm thinking Kellogg's Sugar Pops etc...
