Today my brother-in-law retires from the Air Force

Today my brother-in-law retires from the Air Force and I am going to his retirement ceremony at the local Air Force base.

He spent the last 28 years as a JAG officer in the reserves. :usaf: He is getting out as a Lt. Col. Funny thing is this will be the first time I will ever see him in uniform and I have known him for probably 25 years.

There will only be brass there (higher rank officers for those of you that wern't in the military) except for me. I was enlisted in the Navy and in my earlier years I got in a lot of trouble for not showing "respect" to officers. (one boot ensign comes to mind :punch:) Good thing civilians don't have to say "sir" or salute or I would be back in front of the captain again today.:hot:

i've known my sons all o' thier lives and i've only ever seen one o' them in dress uniform one time.
