We were told by a local Pastor that.....on 12 July, 2007
Our Nations senate will NOT open in Christian prayer for the first time in our Nations history.It will instead open to hindu prayer.



Psalm 9:
15 The nations have sunk down in the pit which they made;
In the net which they hid, their own foot is caught.
16 The LORD is known by the judgment He executes;
The wicked is snared in the work of his own hands.
17 The wicked shall be turned into hell,
And all the nations that forget God.

Yes, the senate will open in hindu prayer (on the 12th) but it's not the first time in American history that someone outside the catholic, protestant or jewish faiths has opened the Senate with an invocation. I did a little search and found that in 1992, Wallace Mohammed became the first Muslim leader to deliver the invocation.
