Today was a good one. Got my first

Mike Chgo area

Well-known member
ring with MXT today. Hit a few play grounds and got 14 quarters (again) 12 dimes, 10 nickels, and 27 pennies 1 which is a 1988 British coin. The second play ground I hit is good for jewelry so I got out the CZ5 because I can get closer to the metal posts with it due to the small coil in part. That play ground netted a hoop earring which must be silver plated aluminum as it came up on foil and I can't find any markings on it. Also got a plain silver band marked 925 about 6 1/2. Next went to a school ground I had hit a couple of years ago. Got most of the coins there and my first silver ring with the MXT. It is a nice band with what looks like Morning Glorys and leaves all around the band. It is marked sterling with a makers mark on it and about a size 7. It came in close to where the quarters come in on the read out. Hope all had a great weekend.

What a great day!!!!

Congrats buddy! :)

You had a great day Mike! I almost bought and MXT, I think it is one of the best all purpose detectors on the market. I have a Whites Classis IDX that is a great little detector to use in trashy areas. I just wish I had time to use it. Keep on digging, I enjoy seeing your finds.
