Ben hitting the old woods off and on of late, but over all good targets have been a bit on the lean side. This mornings hunt was one of the better ones. The 1st good target was the sterling, smashed, ring from the edge of a trail. Then, good hits were few are far between. The few were the mini ball and the 2 wheats, 1919 and 25. I then started working my way back toward my vehicle and got the 1910 V nickel. Always enjoy seeing those. Swinging along the side of another trail dug the rabies tag and the 42P nickel. I thought, "hmmm, a Buffalo would be nice." But, instead I got the 1919 Mercury dime just a few feet away from the war nickel. The one Whats it target(s) came out of the hole in 3 pieces. The other war nickel, a 43P came on another hunt and the 45 Washington quarter I got on a woods hunt last weekend. The last photo is of the nut for the last three hunts. There is an older looking g f ring among the nut. F 75 LTD with 11"dd coil and running b p mode, 0 disc, 85 sen and 3h and 4h tones. HH jim tn
