Today's hunt at a house that is over a hundred years old, produced a 1917 merc, 1897 barber dime, which is my first barber dime and I have been detecting since 1980. A 1925 D buffalo nickel, A 1891 V nickel and a 1926 5 Centavos. All in one small front yard. Not a bad day at all. Each of the coins except the mercury dime had a nail in each of their holes.

Wow that is a good yard. I've never had a yard that good. Congratulations on a great hunt.

Congratulations on a great day and your first Barber Dime!

WTG!! Nothing beats that old silver..except maybe a belt plate or a good button!!!
