A Scottish coin of Alexandria 111, a silver penny ,Second issue about 1280-86 AD.

26 points on the amulets and stars suggest a mint mark of Perth.:detecting:
 
Here in the states, We can oly dream of finding coins such as those.

Shame it wasnt the same version I found with my Explorer of Alexander 11, john do you remember that one. Came out of one of the fields I took you to when you visited It was only the fourth one ever found and was unique in that it had the names of not one but three monyers on it. Netted me the value of two new Explorers :wiggle: There were thousands upon thousands of Alexander 111 minted, a huge hoard of a few thousand were found in France once apparently. H.H
