Today's Best out of the Box water machines vs the Super Modified

Pulse Induction vs today's salt water VLF's. We have seen some tinkering going on with more than a few machines on the forums but I haven't seen much (if any) innovations with the newer digital Vlf's. Maybe cause I don't follow them specifically. I do think the modifications are coming from the Hard core successful wade in any weather hunters. The site, the hunter the machine. Put a seasoned hunter with his tricked out detector on a good site, well lookout. I'm not sabie enough to mess with them much but have seen pictures on here of reconstructed models that were almost unrecognizable.

I’ve still got my fingers crossed that the production model of the Fisher AQ PI will be digital. Getting away from old school knobs could fix some of the issues. The MDT seems to be an upgrade IN the water over VLFs. Salt balancing makes a difference and IMO should be on any machine in the salt water. I think both the MDT and AquaSound proves that. It would compliment noise cancel.

Just bought another Sovereign Gt......good old knobs and switches.Bought from ebay and had a fault so sent it to a specialist repairer over here and got a depth mod done at the same time.Got nearly an extra 3 inches in depth over the stock machine so i'm putting on a bigger coil for even more depth.......will end up with pi depth combined with great discrim.........who needs the latest machine,my turbo charged Sovvy will spank them all.
