today's bling....

a pocket full of black coin and one set of....

Silver earrings, 3 inches deep, 3 feet apart, city park, V3i

What I can't understand is how a girl can lose both her earrings at the same time in a park unless there was some unnecessary roughness. I doubt I will see this again. I don't even know why I looked for the other one.

:surprised:

shame on you Chief !!!!

First off nice finds!
When both ear rings are found, it usually means that she took them off. Maybe they are e put on a blanket then later forgot about and then the blanket was picked and they were dropped off.
Many times at the beach when swimmers are done they shake the sand off their blanket and there they go.

Lots of possibilities - maybe mom put them in a shirt pocket and they fell out while playing with the kids; maybe someone got mad & threw them away. I have found ear rings just like yours several times but never complete as yours are. They look like a bunch of little rings, steve in so az

Congrats on the finds and I have also found two earrings (matching) at the same time....was on a river gravel bar area were swimmers gathered! Never know what ya might find and why they were there? Just be happy for finding the pair! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Congrats on the finds! I can think of a lot of reasons why both earrings would be taken out at the same time and lost. You said, "...how a girl can lose both her earrings at the same time..." Might not have been a girl! These days you never know! Could have been a guy! LOL

why thank you Betty, what kind of detector where you using before you retired it... I bet you have some pictures of your finds somewhere. I would like your brain in a young man body. Wisdom is wasted on the seasoned citizens

A concert in the park tonight and it ran late, I was joined by a curious kid with a iphone for a flashlight. Scratched up a bag of clad but no more jewelry... boooooooo
It's fun working after dark, you have the pinpointer light and once you get your fingers under the target you feel your way to the treasure. I think I like not seeing the ants, grubs, earth worms, spiders and all that you dance with in the daylight. Yea, this new hobby is like therapy for a monk like me.... if I can't see it, then it isn't there!

I find it ironic that I was the kind of guy who would toss the pennies out the window just so I didn't have to dirty my cars console. I always had a hand wipe close and never got dirty for anything. Now look at me! I will dig in the dirt with my bare hands in the dark for a penny and then put the dirty penny in my car (on a towel of course) well I actually clean all equipment and myself before I get in. Maybe i'm not quite there yet, perhaps there is room for improvement... never mind

time for my meds

does anyone here ever use the chat room? maybe on a certain night? i think it would be fun to talk to other diggers!

I've never used the chat room here. Someone else might be able to answer your question about that.

the old Coinmasters and the last one I used and like so much is my White's Spectrum XLT and I still have it, because I keep praying and thinking I JUST MIGHT be able to go :detecting: again! Yes, I have pics and have posted many on the forum along with many Christian poems that I write or used to anyway....kind of slowed down in doing anything these days! Thank you for saying I have wisdom and I do have godly wisdom through the Baptism of the Holy Ghost (Spirit) but as far as Common Sense sometimes I lack in that when this old gal's brain forgets too easily....can remember the long ago past in many ways and not what I ate or did a few minutes or hours ago! Wish I knew in my earlier years what I know now, but we learn as we live through trials and tribulations and especially after we've accepted Jesus Christ as our own personal Savior and Lord! Amen! I also wish I had the physical strength that I used to have but, alas, older age seems to weaken body and mind and slows a person down to what was done during our childhood and earlier years of raising a family and working in and out of the home! As my dad always said, It isn't the age of a person but the mileage they've put on like the chasis of a car!  Some people live into their 90s and 100s but that isn't my desire unless I was heallthy and useful in continuing on doing what needs to be done to take care of myself and right now I have a hard time doing that! But I have Jesus and He has kept me going and serving Him and whatever years He continues giving me is what I will accept! Praise God from Whom all blessings flow! Amen!

As far as bing a clean freak, I used to keep house, car and children clean along with myself, but that isn't as important to me any more trying to be scrub dutch clean...and if you think I am clean when I finished MD'ing? well you should have seen me, because in whatever outside things I did, I looked a mess with sweat and dirt all over me...NOT A PRETTY SIGHT at all! I kept car cleaned after going outside and bringing home the dirty coins and etc. but I kept the bags with the coins and the trash in the trunk and then cleaned the car and trunk later! I used to do lots of things that I cannot do any more but sure wish I could! Enjoyed the mystery of the hunts and sure do miss getting out a swingin' and a diggin'! May God Bless you to be and remain in good health and to find lots and lots of nice goodies! Amen! Ma Betty P.S....I am listening to the Gaithers and they are singing, Amazing Grace the sweetest sound I know! Just love God's Spirit moving through praise and songs honoring His Holy name, Jesus!
