Todays bush hunt!

Well-known member
Headed into a brushy spot this morning that good targets are usually few, but occasionally something good still pops up. Didn't dig a bunch for my 3 1/2 hours time, but a well worn 42 Washington quarter ended up in my pouch as well as a UNLISTED Kenneth Cole watch, (probably trashed) a few clad, a pistol ball (maybe) and a lead plastic worm rig sinker. (?) No fishing water for several miles in any direction. The Washington quarter did have a bit of depth, about 6," down under some small roots and 3" or so of wet leaves and small twigs on top of the ground. Nice tone and 84/85 lock on signal. The watch was a big signal, but was reading 87/88. It has a stainless steel band. Had the F 75 LTD in BP mode, 85 Sen, 0 disc, 3h tones and gb of 61-63 with 2-3 feo bars. Am going to take the Omega for a park stroll after spending 7 1/2 minutes (wife appeasement) on our taxes. See ya all later.:detecting: HH jim tn

LOL. Jim, you are going to have all of the Northern State Detectorists knocking on your front door soon. Keep your doors locked!

Well, any of you northern swingers that want to come down my way, I'll surely show you some hunting spots and some good ole southern hospitality. Let me know and I'll even "leave the light on for you." I did take the Omega for a park stroll this afternoon and it did sniff out a (legible date) 1937 Buffalo nickel. I did post it on the Tek forum. HH jim tn
