Got out to the farm feild with the Outlaw, and the 10x12 DD seemed to work great in the no motion, the Iron thing was a solid 12" deep and still mad e swel sound , the sluggs all where about 5- 6" deep I supose becuase of the 12" deep plowing a coin could be 0 to 12" deep I did a test in no motion with the outlaw & the bliss the outlaw on a dime hits it at 8" solid and the bliss 11" the 12 gauge slug outlaw hits it good at 10 and the bliss 13" the copper bullet outlaw hits it solid at 8" and bliss at 11" the Iron thing outlaw hits it at 16" and the bliss 21" but i cant always swing the bliss in the stubble but the outlaw i can just pick the coil up and set it down and get in better hopfully it will get smoothed out

You certainly find your share of lead.

Jim this feild is full of big sluggs, lots of deer hunting in times past, I also found a used up welding rod, Must have had to fix the equipment in the feild, so that may have ment laying on thear backs welding and losing coins,

Check in the area where you found the welding rod. Then again with the land being plowed every year, those coins could be anywheres.
