Congrats for finding a very pretty ring! God is good and He is good all the time! Amen! Ma Betty

Two more rings from the same park... after a little buff up one is copper and the other is gold plated. Nothing special but I'm really starting to get comfortable with the Whites. My father-in-law took my ACE250 after the hunts this weekend LOL. That's OK I'm full time V3i now and getting better with it so I doubt I would have ever used the ACE again.

Congrats on finding two more rings and I have always used Whites and especially like the Whites Spectrum XLT but don't know anything about the V3i! May God Bless you to find more and more nice goodies and have fun doing it! :detecting: is a good hobby and fun passtime! Amen! Ma Betty

Nice rings! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the encouragement people :) I was feeling really lucky so I went back tonight but the mosquito's took me out. After sundown is much cooler and no one misses me at home but there are some strange people in the park at night. The little Garrett light really comes in handy but Whites needs to do something about their display, even on the first setting it's way too bright and attracts bugs and blinds you at night. I am thinking about making a window tint covering to dim it considerably.

Yes, mosquitos are terrible and you need to be aware of people that you do not know, especially, in the parks and other areas at night! I've never detected with the detector's light at night, for as a woman, it is dangerous enough in the daytime when detecting alone! The tinted cover sounds like it might just be what you need! There is also a hat with a light like the Miners use that you could wear and maybe it wouldn't be as bright but probably is as it is very dark in the mines! You could get a small flashlight an attach it to your detector near the loop in some way and that would help you to see the ground where you are swingin' and help you to dig! You might be able to carry it like you do your digging tool and use it when you need it to do your diggin' in finding whatever is hidden! Just suggestions, as I've never used them myself, so don't know if they really work....but I am sure some on here have hunted in the dark and can make better suggestions than I can! May God Bless you to keep finding the nicer goodies and relics! Amen! Ma Betty
