hello everyone im doing awesome with my garrett gti 1500 it is by far the best out there and with out the lack of depth ! man this new detector is my favorite so far it is right on as far as coins but i have been digging all items that beep just too make sure its not something nice. i went out today from 8am too 3pm and did alot of swinging and digging i got this really loud bing bing and it said quarter so i dug and found my first nice silver mans ring with the garrett also found a nice 1937 wheaty and much clad and many relics also so here are some pics of my finds .

Nice. Most all the silver rings I have found hit on the quarter on the 250. One hit on dime, it was a small, petite silver ring.

I agree with Awhitster for the 250 but on my 2500, which is about the same machine as your 1500, I find silver rings all over the place depending on their design. Today's 4.8 gram ring hit on dime. Yesterday's 6.6 gram ring (with much larger stone) hit on copper cent. I've gotten them all the way from Zinc Cent to Half Dollar.
