Had alittle time today so I stopped at one of my spots and dug up $2.21 in clad, 1 button and a really nice SILVER religious metal. It's not a silver coin but it's SILVER.
 
Nifty medal! God speaks to me all the time when I'm detecting. Doubly so when I find something religious. On one of my lowest days in recent memory I found the picturted medal. Pewter. I carry it all the time now.

I found a very tiny Catholic medalion and it was from some high schucky-muck designer. Very good find indeed.

Nice finds. My first religious piece is a cross I found on Waimea Beach 20+ years ago...without a MD. It is pewter and all ate up. I have carried it in my wallet ever since. I had my wallet stolen in SF years ago. It came back in the mail....less cash but the cross was still there :thumbup:
 
I likes those religious medallions. Here's my favorite found with my 1500 some time ago. It's Gorham sterling silver with 24 KT gold wings and a small diamond in the center.
