Todays finds and ring returned to owner...

I got permission to search around a home that dates back to 1905 and my buddy and I decided to try it today.
We found lots of clad, but surprisingly only one silver coin and no wheat pennies were found.
I did find a spoon ring and just as I was cleaning it off shortly after recovering it, the owner came out to see if we were having any luck and I showed her what I had just found.
She was very surprised and said that it was a ring that she had lost about 20 years ago and that a friend had made it for her.
It had her intial from her name ingraved on the front of it and I gladly returned it to her hand.
I also got a worn Mercury dime and another surprise besides the ring were some old bullets that may date back to the civil war, but I am not sure just yet.
I the photo of the bullets, there is a .52 cal sharps that was not found today, but is for reference only.. the other 6 bullets were found today.
Any help of IDing these is much appreciated.
Just goes to show you... you never know what may turn up while searching.. that's the fun of it all!!!
Thanks for looking,
Felix

Great finds, and a wonderful ambassadorship move with the ring too! :clapping:

wow, that's cool that you found her ring. I'm sure that made her day.

A few years ago I found a ring just like that one, Gorham sterling. I did a google search on it an they are not a cheap ring.

It looks like you found yourself some 3 ringers, wtg

nice job returning the ring. Ive found 3 and returned only one.. That guy burnt me too.. I found his ring, looked him up thru various phone calls. talked to him and he was excited to get his ring back after he has been without it for 12 years..HIGH SCHOOL RING AT THAT...I return it with a promise from him to send me my shipping back..Thats all I wanted.. I got nothing back,,,The other 2 rings I couldnt find owner..So if your going to be a good samaritan...dont do as i did and trust that they will send you your $$ back..make them send you something first or meet somewhere..
