On the locket - If you take the right side and fold it toward the left side they will fit together! Nice find! :)
 
...where is this beach????????????? (DON'T TELL) I know it's on the eastern shore somewhere and you are pulling out a lot of neat, old and unusual finds from it. Keep posting them because I really enjoy seeing everyone elses finds since I don't have time to get out myself anymore.
 
I'll tell...it's a Fairfield, Ct . beach...do you live near-by? Stop over and we'll clean this beach out !
 
Yes, I should save it...but I don't know where to cash it in ....a hardware store?...I'm not sure..
 
That's a good question...I don't know the chemistry of the two metals... I might just research this in my spare time ( what's that?) :rofl:
 
yep I have a bucket for copper and a bucket for brass, we have a recycling center here in town that buys it all!
 
I 'll have to check this out.. I have a detecting friend whom I can ask, too.
