Went out to the park for a couple hours after I posted my April fools joke. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt="

Went to the nasty spot where they burnt down the grandstand in the 20's. It is almost un-huntable. I have to hunt there in ferrous with IM wide open and it is a constant low tone. That is where I found my 1901o quarter years ago plus a half dime and some seated and a bunch of shield nickels and stuff. I wish I still had my X5. I used the stock coil but I need to hunt it real good with the X8.
Anyway, I thought the dime was going to be in awesome shape, which it was when it was lost. But it is covered with silver oxide which all the silver I have found here is. Oh well. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt="

Found the 1903 nickel, new looking 17 wheat and cracker jack like little clock thing in another spot that used to be a concession stand.
