I went to a local school to play with my new 10" DD Excelerator coil. Any question I might have had about the coil being able to locate the deep targets was answered today when I dug two coins, one coin a clad quarter was measured at 8" and the other a clad half dollar was at 7". Another thing I liked was that I was able to pinpoint each target accurately at those depths with no problem. All my other coins were dug at depths of 2 to 4 inches. I also found another one of those recycled US currency pencils. I wonder how much currency it takes to make one pencil. It was a nice sunny, warm day perfect for detecting, but I had to call my hunt short after an hour to go home and do honey do's. Your are right Ohio Fred and Rcasio44 I like this coil.
