Todays Finds!

Hey all! I went to the local park today where at one time stood a mid 1800's house. I hunted for 2 or 3 hours before I had to leave. This is the first time I hunted this area. I started off by finding just regular clad. I wasn't quite sure where the house was situated, and after about an hour or so I was getting alittle frustrated. But, perseverance pays off. I was hunting around this tree when I got a nice sounding 42 ,44 on the screen. Dug down and found this large cent!! I can't make the date out yet but maybe after some mild cleaning something will show. After that about 2 feet from the LC I found the decorated spoon. Looks pretty cool! Then I found what looks to be part of a pair of old glasses! Turned out to be a good day!! HH J.B.

Looks like you honed in on "the spot". Good luck and congratulations on the large cent!!!
