I went back to the same place where I found my 16D merc, cause i didn't check the hole real well. I was so excited yesterday that I just left the park. there was another signal in the hole and it turned out to be a 1898 barber dime, in VG/Fine shape. i then let my friend go over the area, and only a few feet away he pulled out a 1878 Indian head. I moved to a different part of the part and got a real week deep signal, it was a 1876 Indian head, not in the greatest shape though. I started to grid the area, and I got another good signal about a foot from where I found the Indian. I dug about 6" down and out pops a 1877 seated dime in fine/very fine shape it is only my 3rd seated that Ive ever found. this park dates back to about 1878 and I only hit a portion of it, hope there's alot more in there. the other coins are 1903 Indian, 1911 and 1918D wheat's, I got to tell you its been one heck of a week...Happy Hunting

WTG and Congratulations on such a great haul. If you are pulling that kind of coins from a park that is near-by, then I for 1 would be pounding the heck out of it until you know that you got most of it. Wish i could find a spot like. I should find one with the 50+ pages of research that I have done so far and hope to have great finds like that soon. Keep up those AWESOME finds and hope you dig them before the next detectorist does. HH.

At least it isn't 50 or 100 miles away! Whenever you get a chance of getting out, I definitely would be going back to that hot spot and I hope your luck holds out for a long time. HH.

I might just have to come over to Georgia to get me a seated coin, but then again, if that is only your third one then maybe the places you have gone have been hunted out..............:) HH.
