Dale and I did some diggin in between snowstorms. Had to go south some where the snow was gone but that just happens to be where our favorite cornfield is. I went 3 hours with not much to show and then I hit a hot spot. I dug some more confederate gardners, a confederate enfield, and some other bullets that are in pretty bad shape. I got a sweet silver signal right close to where I had dug a gardner. I was sure it was going to be a seated. I see silver at the bottom of the hole. My heart is racing and Im thinking be a key date. Well it was a 1959 roosey. Missed it by about a hundred years. Oh well at least it was silver. all in all we had a blast today.

It also has a 70 which is the model number. I found the lock on a website but it didnt say what year it was patented. Bohannan started making locks in 1861 and are still in business now in Ohio.
