Dad and I went to a park to MD. Park was made up of a group of swing sets, slid, metal climbing thingy, seasaw, and monkeybars.I started off at the swings, while my Dad went for the metal climbing thingy. The swing set had just 5 swings with 2 metal support beams separating the two from each other. My hunt started off very frustratingly. Well, by the time I reached those 2 support beams I had very little to show for my hunt so far. I only had a few more swings to go before I crossed over to the other side when all of a sudden I got a quarter/dime signal. Hoping it would be my first quarter of the day, I began to dig. After using my propointer I realized that I had missed it by a few inches. Once I cut another small plug I saw a glint of silver. My first silver coin????? No..... It was a silver ring!!!!!!!
Whoo-hooo!!!!!
And it was big!!!! I wish I had one of those measuring things so I could see how much it weighs. Anyway, from then on my hunt went great. That was the boost of confidence I needed.
My finds:
$2.58
Korean coin
Key chain thing
Dad's finds:
$5.60
Cheap key chain thing
marble
Bell without a dinger
Mary necklace piece
All in all, a great hunt! HH!!
Hope to get back out tomorrow.
