Chris and I went back to one of our spots and quickly found out that particular area hadn't received as much rain a few days ago as some other areas had. Digging was a little tougher, but manageable.
Pretty much right out of the box Chris un-earth a Mercury dime and I followed suit a few minutes later with the 42 Washington quarter. A little while later I dug the 42 Mercury dime and realized when trying to get a shot of it fresh from the ground that my on/off button had got stuck again on my camera. I bounced it on the counter top when I got home and it became un-stuck. While I was digging the Merc. Chris was also digging one. His two Merc's were 35d and 36d. I ended up with 6 wheats, the oldest being 1910 and 1936. The toasted one was I suspect a 1909s vdb.
There was some trash, but you all know what it looks like. HH jim tn
