The park that I searched today is an old park that just keeps producing. The first target was a cooper tag with an inscription on the front "Finder Please return to JL Hudson Co Detroit",back of(green)copper tag has a ID B14D09,this target was around nine inches in an area where most of the coins found here are in the late 1800s were not as deep.I searched another area of the park and dug a lot of hot rocks targets and was very frustrated, which felt like I was flying upside down.I regrouped in a different location and used the noise cancel button. Now I started digging lower tones and stronger targets and started finding deep memorials and even a 1931 wheat cent.My cell phone rang and it was a call from my wife asking when I was coming home,my reply another 30-45 minutes of hunting. On my way through the park I searched an area that produced some very good finds, which has been researched dozens of times.I had a nice two way target and the icon was bouncing a little(possible silver) the depth gauge showed about 8 inches. The ground was sod on top of sand here easy digging,so a deep plug was cut and the target checked with the Pistol Probe, nothing.I rechecked the hole with the coil and got a clear signal. After another four inches of dirt removed I finally had a response from the deep probe a recheck with the Bullseye revealed no target. At this point the hole is deep about a foot and I figure it has to be a rusted can.More dirt was removed and now the Pistol Probe has a strong blip. This time with the target check the White's vibrated,my thought I'll pull out a rusted piece of can.I was amazed when a green crusted coin was recovered. Before filling the hole a recheck with the probe revealed another green slug, again another recheck showed a third target. Now I was excited maybe silver on the next target, but not to be just another green slug. This hole produced three green slugs and a new personal record for coin depth. The Pistol Probe will fit in the entire hole so these coins were found at 14 inches, not bad for a 10 inch search coil.By the way the mystery slugs a 1905 Indian Head,1909 Indian Head and a 1912 wheat penny. Please excuse the photo. Thanks
