A beautiful Arizona sunrise this morning - actually much nicer than the pic.

I saw this vacant large lot recently and recorded it. I went there today - thought the 2 palm trees should indicate things , plus some common house bushes. I dug 63 coins there, all recent - but 58 were in one hole. Thought I had dug a roll of 50 till I counted them all.

Hit a few parks afterwards and here's the take for the day, 85 coins of all kinds, no silver, 2 dinky cars, a plastic tomato worm for my wife's talks and asst jewelry. Steve in so az

I believe it is supposed to be up to 45 degrees here Thursday...then rain is heading during the afternoon...then rain Friday...Saturday...sunday. Thursday morning from 10 to 12 may be my last opportunity to hunt until after winter. Hopefully I can get an hour or 2 in just one more time before rain/snow hits.

At this rate you will hit 12,000 this year! :)

Nice finds Steve. Love the cars. I always enjoy finding those little fellows. Keep swingin' & findin'

when you find a vacant lot like that, do you just take your chances and hunt, or do you find out who owns it first? Just curious. Nice finds!

With wide open sites like that I just go in - never has been a problem. If there's mainly just dirt and such I dont figure I can do any harm. I know it's other's property but I always respect it. One time a cop stopped me and asked that. I said what I was doing and he said no problem. Steve

85 coins is a nice haul and 2 more additions to you car collection.
(Biggest catfish I ever caught was on a real tomato worm...wonder..if you used it would you catch a plastic fish?)
Congrats Steve on the finds - bet there is more there to be found.
