Hit a spot about mid morning for a couple of hours after the all night thunder showers passed through. No silver today, but did manage a 1898 I H cent, a few pieces of clad and a 2000 two pounds coin. The rest was just curio kind of things. A year 2002 dog tag with a tag with the owners name and address on it, a tube that appears to be lipstick, key, tire gauge? and a no value token. For those interested, the I H read 63-64, was 4" deep and in 3h tones came in as a mid tone. I ran the LTD a little hotter today, sen 95, disc 1, B P mode and 3h tones. Several days of good weather on the horizon, so we'll see what comes to light throughout the week. HH jim tn

Put about seven hours in today and the best thing about it all was it was a beautiful to be out swinging. Got 7 no value tokens, about $2.00 in clad, 4 buttons that appear to be of no consequence and a Zippo lighter. I'll trade someone all the "no value tokens" for a silver dime. LOL The wheel on the Zippo is rusted tight, other wise it is in good shape. If I was into needing a lighter, I would send it to Zippo. If I remember correctly, they have a life time guarantee. Grand parents day at our granddaughters school in the morning, so will see what kind of time remains for some swinging. Somebody go out and find something good. HH jim tn
 
rick, Yes, we did get some strong straight line winds and had a few trees and power lines down and a few areas with power loss right around here. Tn pretty much got zapped all across the state. Whether in the north or south this year, this has been a tough and unusual winter weather wise. IT'S MARCH GUYS AND GALS UP NORTH! CAN SPRING BE FAR BEHIND? Spring better not be to far away,I am going nuts!!! haha.Yeh spring should be close,am getting low on venison and firewood!!!!....hh rick in mi.
