todays spot...private beach

From the land of the Bluenose...believe it or not one has to pay to go on this beach and playground as it is privately owned. So this bouy does it early in the morning or late afternoon when the charges are waved. Only 20 minutes from home this spot takes 20 minutes to do. Being in a upper middle class area this small sandy bottom beach has been a great producer over the years. Last summer was a thriller as I had the brief company of a sea who must have come up the Shubie canal locks. Place is full of small mouthed bass also who love to swim around my coil. The sand box in the playground has given me great joy as I often find my favourite finds there...dinkies!
 
That is a beautiful looking beach! A lot of the beaches here in Oregon are pay beaches. The difference is that ours are in the State Park system. Most people skip those beaches and go to the free ones.

I'd probably go crazy in that spot trying to figure out what to do first... Get my MD or my fly rod <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)"> Lord, I want to have a tough decision like that one day <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">
