Token found with the Cortes,

Hey all, went out yesterday in the woods. One of my usual spots. Got a Indian Head signal at 4-5 inches. Turned out to be a token. Eagle Mfg Company Chicago. Good for 5cents in trade. I've found many tokens but always for a saloon, or cigar or something of that nature. What the heck could you purchase from a Manufacturing company? -Jay

It appears that Eagle Manufacturing Co. In Chicago made tools. They were around as early as 1865, maybe earlier.

Well, we might find it odd. But, if that token is from the mid 1800's its possible a wrench or hammer cost .20-.25
