Token, Minie Ball, Wheat & Choice Junk!

Diane and I went out Friday afternoon did a couple of door knocks first house built in 1860's looking forward to potential finds. Almost immediately found the token and was hopeful there was more...well hopeful was all that I got. Did find 9 keys in one hole...is that a key spill  and I found part of an old clock. Diane found some clad and a really neat find a .58 caliber three ringer minie ball. She was suprised I was excited to see it, she says "I rather have an old coin anyday!" Well I like the relics. Afternoon light was starting to run out when we did an 1865 house. It had a small yard with a lot of tangled growth around it, despartely needs some pruning. It was the most iron filled yard I have ever hunted, I showed Diane how to use TTF before but she had never really hunted in it until now but she really caught on quick. She found a clad dime and a nice 1928 wheatie. I managed to dig up about 5 pieces of melted lead and some junk so we called it a day. The token is what is called a Bottle Check used for refunds on bottles instead of cash. I found two examples on Richards Token database but both were different from mine. Here is a link to that very helpful site for tokens.
