[attachment 22523 scan0001.jpg]Found this Saturday at 8in deep. think it is old, but it is aluminum. when did they start makeing aluminum tokens? will try to find out about it on the internet.harry
 
Very few Trade Tokens, Store Cards or Medals were made of aluminum prior to 1890. It was too expensive for such use. But its price dropped to $1.50 a pound in 1891 and to $0.75 cents in 1893. Hope this helps and answered your question.
