tonal discrimination

Hello, i like to use 0 (-6.4) discrimination to listen to the ground better. 5tone: 120Hz (-6.4-6), 400Hz(6-30), 702Hz(30-99), 120Hz(99-100). before i had 5th tone from800Hz 85-100 but i've notice many signals from hotrocks or ground anomaly at 99, with low groundballance. i don't recall any target at 99 range. Can i loose targets like this? mostly run 18kHz so is it possible that big silver could hit 99?

Never say never, BUT I have never seen anything at 99 that wasn't just wrap around.....even when using high frequencies.

On the other hand, I have never dug a silver dollar that was only 1/2 inch below the surface either.

YES! The deus up averages deep on the edge targets and they hut 97-99 sometimes. THE BEST way to deal with iron wrap is NOT a high end notch but rather learn the tonal nuances of the machine. I live in iron loaded sites and iron wral around is NOT a problem. WHY? Because I learned the machine without a high end notch and learned how to tell iron from the Tonal Nuance of the machine. That high end notch is some of the worse advice given on the Deus .imo
