Tones on Eurotek Pro

Neil

Well-known member
Can someone help with how the tones work?

The way Im reading is there are three tones, one for iron(kind of a squawk), one for any setting below the disc point that isnt iron(vco sound) and then the higher pitched sound for everything above the disc set point.
So if the detector is set to just knock out small iron...........then foil, nickels and dimes are all gonna give a high tone, is that correct?

Go to page 15, it has a break down of the 3 tones by discrimination settings. If you set the detector to knock out iron you will still get V.C.O. and high tones, but, the V.C.O. and high tones can/will shift depending on the amount of discrimination you set.
