Tonights Silver Haul

New member
I bought my Explorer in May. Before it I had a Whites M6 that I bought in February to see if I would enjoy the hobby. I have been away from detecting since my Whites 2DB in the 80's. I usually get out once or twice a week. The past several weeks I think everything now clicks with me and the Explorer.

I went for a 1.5 hour hunt tonight to a hard hit park. All coins were between 6 and 10" measured on the Lesche. The Buffalo in the center is how I usually find them around here.

Nice going John..............:clapping: Too bad the SLQ doesn't have a date, but that's usually what you can expect when you dig one up. Nice find just the same. HH.

Nice finds, John!

Our buffalo nickels look the same around here too. :( I've just resigned myself to the fact that, except for war nickels, I'm not going to find any old nickels in good shape. And even some of the war nickels have had a weird corrosion in pockets.

I'm guessing you're enjoying it. :)
